ANMAC can update your current outcome letter if you need to add skills or change your ANZSCO code.

Introduction

An Outcome Letter is the document you receive after ANMAC has processed your skills assessment application.

If you have received an Outcome Letter, and now have new work experience, you can request an update to add skills or change your ANZSCO code.

To do this, apply for an Outcome Letter update in "My Account".

Understand these rules Before Requesting an Update

  • Expiry Date: An update will not change the expiry date on your Outcome Letter. The letter remains valid for 2 years from the date of your initial skills assessment, not from the date of the update.
  • Validity Period: We encourage you to check the date on your letter. You can only update an Outcome Letter that is still valid for 3 months or more.
  • No Extension: We cannot extend the expiry date on your letter; we can only add skills or change your ANZSCO code.
  • Department of Home Affairs: An expired Outcome Letter will not be accepted by the Department of Home Affairs.
  • Fees: Each update request requires a fee.

Changes that can be made

You can request an update to your Outcome Letter to:

  • Add work experience
  • Add a recently completed qualification
  • Change your ANZSCO code
  • Correct any errors

Cost to Update

It costs $145 to change your ANZSCO code, add work experience, or correct any errors.

Steps to Update Your Letter

  1. Check Expiry: Ensure your current letter has not expired and has at least 3 months remaining.
  2. Verify Experience: Confirm you have at least 3 months of work experience related to the skills or ANZSCO code you are requesting.
  3. Log In: Access the Skilled Migrant Application portal.
  4. Request Update: Select the "Request Outcome Letter Update" option.
  5. Confirm Request: Choose the desired ANZSCO code and confirm your request.
  6. Pay Fee: Complete payment using your credit or debit card.
  7. Upload Documents: Provide a professional reference letter to support your work experience.
  8. Wait for Response: Await further communication from ANMAC.

Note: If your outcome letter has expired, you will need to apply for a new skills assessment, as expired letters cannot be updated.
