ANMAC's responsibility is to ensure that changes to programs continue to meet the accreditation standards. Therefore, notification of changes to the program is required.
At the outcome of accreditation, providers will be notified to:
- Report all changes
- Report as per the prospective reporting below
Accreditation or Structural Changes
- Registration status by the:
- Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA)
- Australian Skills Quality Authority (AQSA)
- other state regulator of RTOs
- University or TEQSA program accreditation
- Entry pathways (where block credit is awarded)
- Change to program title
Expansion or Introduction of
- An increase to the approved student population
- The introduction of an offshore component into the program
- The introduction or removal of a subject or unit of competency
- Change to program delivery mode, including use of third-party providers (this will require payment of a fee)
- Change to clinical laboratory infrastructure or the number/location of campuses where program is delivered (this will require payment of a fee)
- Introduction of international student enrolments
Changes Within the Education Provider
- Head of discipline
- Provider name
- Governance structure
- Ownership
Please allow sufficient time for assessment and approval which can take up to 3 to 6 months.
Notification in Writing
Provide a written overview of proposed program changes and timelines by completing an Intention to submit form (219KB) and emailing it to accreditation@anmac.org.au
Submit Evidence and Fee Payment, if Required
All assessments of program changes will require submission of evidence. Fees may be applicable as indicated in the Fees Schedule.
Stay in Touch
ANMAC will maintain email communication throughout the assessment process of proposed program changes. Prompt responses to requests for additional evidence will enable timely assessment.
The Final Decision
ANMAC will notify you via email of the outcome. This communication will also include details of accreditation conditions and monitoring.
