Important update
Correspondence (140 KB) notifying all education providers of the following NMBA approved amendment to criterion 1.3 in the Nurse Practitioner Accreditation Standards 2015.
Criterion 1.3 Listing on the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) National Registry for the award of Masters Degree (Level 9) as a minimum, includes the term Nurse Practitioner in the named degree.
Accreditation standards detail requirements to be met by education providers when:
- Seeking program accreditation.
- Making program changes.
- Responding to program monitoring.
Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved programs are entered on the Approved Program of Study List. Graduates of such programs are eligible to apply for NMBA endorsement
