Camilla Rowland – Chief Executive Officer

EMBA, GAICD

Camilla is a highly respected leader who has held CEO, executive, clinical and educational roles throughout her career. She joins ANMAC from Palliative Care Australia, where she served as CEO, working closely with member organisations, leading national advocacy, strengthening partnerships across government and the health system, and advancing workforce capability and education initiatives to improve access to high-quality care.

Throughout her career, Camilla has held representational and Board roles across regional, state and national organisations, including 16 years based in rural Australia across VIC, NSW and QLD. This work has been primarily with health advocacy and sector capacity-building organisations, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing health and community services at every level.

Camilla holds a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), complemented by qualifications in social work, adult education, human resources and executive leadership.

 


 

Dr Melanie Lauva – Acting Director Accreditation Services

BNursHons, RN, GCertHPEd, MEdRM, PhD, MACN

Mel Lauva is an experienced nurse leader with a strong background in education and accreditation. A registered nurse and accomplished academic, she has held senior roles across ANMAC and various Australian universities, bringing a comprehensive understanding of clinical practice, professional standards and higher education.

Mel is committed to integrity, inclusivity and delivering high-quality outcomes that support safe and competent healthcare practice in Australia..

 


 

Kath Baird – Director Skilled Migration Services

RN, BScN, DipMngt, MBA (Exec), MACN 

Kath is a registered nurse with more than 20 years' experience across clinical service delivery, management, education and migration, and is currently the Director of Assessment Services at ANMAC. Kath’s brings to this role strong leadership and advocacy in the skilled migration space which includes the assessment of overseas born nurses, midwives, and direct care workers for migration purposes. She understands nursing and midwifery education, registration and migration pathways and the challenges faced by internationally qualified nurses and midwives in Australia.
