ANMAC IPE Colloquium™ Scholarship 2026
In partnership with the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC), ANMAC is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities for passionate nursing and midwifery students and recent graduates to attend the 2026 IPE Colloquium™.
The 9th Interprofessional Colloquium™, hosted by APC, will be held in Canberra on Tuesday 5 May 2026 and will welcome more than 200 delegates from across Australia’s health, education and policy sectors.
Empowering voices: Educating health professionals for respectful and inclusive conversations
This year’s theme explores how we equip future health professionals with the capabilities to engage in meaningful, inclusive conversations that help communities and colleagues feel heard, respected and empowered.
Through ANMAC’s partnership with APC, this scholarship supports nursing and midwifery students to strengthen their confidence, cultural capability and interprofessional understanding at a critical stage of their professional journey.
Why attend the IPE Colloquium™?
The Colloquium provides students with the opportunity to:
- Connect with nursing, midwifery, pharmacy and other health students from across Australia
- Learn from researchers, educators and sector leaders supporting interprofessional practice
- Contribute their student voice to national conversations on education, cultural safety and capability building
- Engage in respectful, inclusive dialogue that strengthens future workforce collaboration
Scholarship details
- ANMAC scholarship recipients will receive:
- Full conference registration (complimentary, provided by APC)
- An exclusive networking dinner with the ANMAC leadership team
- One night’s accommodation
- Return travel within Australia
The scholarship is designed to remove financial barriers and enable students to participate in national interprofessional education conversations.
Applications close Friday 27 February 2026.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in an ANMAC-accredited nursing or midwifery program in Australia, or
- Be a recent graduate (within 12 months) from an accredited program
- Demonstrate an interest in interprofessional practice, cultural safety or healthcare quality
- Provide a short statement addressing their motivation to attend
- Provide a brief letter of support from their education provider (optional for 2026)
Priority may be given to:
- Students from rural or regional areas
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
- Students who have demonstrated leadership or advocacy in healthcare
- ANMAC encourages applications from students of all backgrounds and is committed to supporting a diverse, culturally safe future workforce.
