An international graduate of an approved program of study in Australia or New Zealand and is registered in at least one of these countries.
ANMAC uses 5 criteria to determine suitability for migration to Australia:
Criteria 1 - Proof of identity
The applicant is able to establish that they are the person that the skills assessment will be carried out on.
Criteria 2 - English language proficiency
The applicant can demonstrate achievement of the required score in the IELTS Academic, OET for Nurses, PTE Academic or TOEFL iBT.
Criteria 3 - Educational equivalence
The applicant is assessed as meeting current Australian nursing and midwifery educational standards.
Criteria 4 - Professional practise
The applicant has practised as a nurse or midwife in the 5 years preceding their application dates.
Criteria 5 - Fitness to practice
The applicant can demonstrate that they are fit to practice without restrictions.
